Title: Dimensions
Size: 50 × 40cm (19.6 × 15.7 inches)
Medim: Oil on canvas
Year: 2017
About the artwork:
Dimensions is a contemplative exploration of space, perception, and the way we understand the world around us. Andrew takes the idea of dimensions beyond simple measurement, inviting the viewer to consider the unseen layers that exist between physical reality, perception, and imagination.
With its intriguing subject and considered composition, the work balances realism with a subtle sense of surrealism. The title encourages us to question what a “dimension” really is, is it a physical space, a state of mind, or something beyond what we can directly perceive?
Painted in oils using Andrew’s distinctive limited-palette approach, the work balances intricate detail with a sense of mystery and visual tension. Dimensions is a one-of-one original artwork.
